Consumers can authorize charges to their phone company, mobile operator, ISP or bank. Here’s an example.
STEP 1:
You receive a payment authorization for the sale from OneTouch Online Purchasing™.
STEP 2:
OneTouch sends information to a telecom industry clearing house which prepares an invoice and submits it for payment to the phone company.
STEP 3:
Sally pays her phone company bill, which includes her payment for the movie.
STEP 4:
The phone company sends the payment for Sally’s movie to the telecom clearing house.
STEP 5:
The clearing house sends payment for Sally’s movie directly to your bank account.
What You Need To Know
OneTouch performs all of the invoicing, clearing, and settlement on a monthly basis, according to existing, standard telecom industry procedures.
Lump sum payments for multiple OneTouch purchases are automatically deposited into your bank account.
OneTouch uses a unique, patent pending technology called Federated Payment™ which guarantees privacy for your customers and reduces your financial risk.
OneTouch provides you with all the transaction details you need so that you can painlessly perform reconciliation when you receive payment.
Payment may take from 30 to 90 days. This is because we follow standard procedures for the global telecom industry – which includes telephone and mobile companies. In the future, as we roll out our service to banks and others, we expect to reduce our payment cycles dramatically.
