A classic example of Direct Billing is a mobile phone company, an electric company, a cable company, an Internet service provider or any other utility company that requires a bill to be paid on a set periodic schedule or prepaid.
In addition, Direct Billing also includes any bank or financial institution that has a direct financial relationship with their customers.

How It Works
Premium SMS is a highly effective micro-payment solution that seamlessly enables anyone with a mobile phone account to purchase online.
Customers who choose the Premium SMS option are required to double-opt-in to complete the SMS transaction. An SMS will be sent to the customer asking if they want to purchase the content or services for a specific price. This SMS will then require confirmation with a Yes or No. They will then be asked again for another round of Yes or No confirmation - thus the term "double opt-in".
